Maintenance

Cooling tower repair and maintenance service items include:

1. Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean the filler, water tray and filter to remove scale and dirt.

2. system check: check whether the water pipe, nozzle, motor and reducer work properly.

3. Lubrication Maintenance: Lubricate motor bearings and reducer.

4. Parts replacement: replace damaged belts, packing and other worn parts

5. Structural reinforcement: tighten bolts and repair broken and cracked towers.

6. water quality management: replace circulating water regularly and use chemicals to treat water quality.

7. Electrical inspection: check the motor current and make sure the electrical equipment is normal.

8. Performance inspection: conduct vibration and noise analysis to ensure efficient operation of cooling tower.

Water turbine cooling tower general fault and treatment:

1. Operation vibration is abnormal

(1): fan blade angle is inconsistent, deviation more than ± 0.5 °. Treatment: adjust the fan angle. Note: regularly check whether the fan fasteners are damaged or loose.

(2) Fan blades and hubs are broken. Treatment: Replace.

(3) Fan blades are adhering to fouling material. Treatment: Clean up. Note: Clean up fan blade adherents regularly.

(4) Speed exceeds rated value by 10%. Treatment: Adjust the speed bypass valve. Note: Prohibit exceeding the rated value of the speed of 10% or affect the service life of the equipment.

(5) Bearing seat lack of oil bearing wear or damage. Treatment: Replace. Note: Regularly add oil and check.

(6) Hydraulic turbine fasteners loose. Treatment: tighten. Precautions: Regular inspection.

2. Turbine stoppage

(1) Whether the speed adjustment bypass valve is fully open. Treatment: adjust the bypass valve.

(2) Bearing seat lack of oil bearing wear or damage. Treatment: Replacement. Note: Regularly add oil and check.

(3) Foreign matter stuck impeller. Treatment: Clean up the foreign matter. Note: Clean the reservoir screen at regular intervals.

3. Strange noise

(1) The rotation speed is far beyond the rated value. Treatment: adjust the bypass valve.

(2) Bearing seat lack of oil bearing wear or damage. Treatment: Replace. Note: Regularly add oil and check.

(3) Hard foreign matter stuck impeller. Treatment: Clean up foreign matter. Note: Clean the reservoir screen at regular intervals.

4. Slow down

(1) Whether the system flow becomes smaller

(2) Bearing seat lack of oil bearing wear. Treatment: Replacement. Note: Regularly refueling check.

(3) Soft foreign matter stuck impeller. Treatment: Clean up the foreign matter. Note: Clean the reservoir screen regularly.
